Metres Ezili Freda - Mater Dolorosa

The Metres Ezili Freda is one of my favorite Loa to spiritually work with. This Loa represents all that is love and prosperity. She is associated with the Catholic image of Mater Dolorosa and she enjoys the scent of perfumes. This particular Loa can be petitioned by lighting white, light blue and pink candles. She dislikes the smell of strong alcohol, cigarettes and cigars. Her day of religious service is on Thursdays. The Metres Ezili can be petitioned by giving her a glass of pink champagne and spraying fine woman's perfume over her statute or image on the 21 Division spiritual altar. This powerful spirit of love enjoys expensive jewelry and fancy sweet French and Spanish Pasteries.
